SELF TUNING REGULATOR UNTUK SISTEM TAKSTABIL DAN TAKLINEAR PADA PROSES KEREKAYASAAN INDUSTRI KIMIA
Abstract
Abstract
In industry (the production is related to chemicals), the production process generally uses an interacting tank as a processing and temporary storage of product results. In the process of packaging these products, the reference from the high surface level of the tank is often out of its limits due to disturbances from the surroundings or the environment. Changes in the reference value result in controller parameters having to be re-tuned and involve adaptive control. Self-Tuning Regulator (STR) which has components in the form of an estimator (based on the Recursive Least Square algorithm) and the Diophatine equation is one of the adaptive controls that can solve this problem. MATLAB-based STR simulators can be used to emulate control processes. The simulation results show that the control system has worked well and has a settling time value of 3.6 p.u. (against the input of a ladder type with a magnitude of 1 unit), the maximum value is 1.7 p.u. and a minimum value of -1.7 p.u (for a square wave input with a magnitude of 1 unit) and the output value will resemble the input when using random input.
