Abstract

Permeability is one of the physical properties of reservoir rock which means the rock's ability to pass fluid. In the process of increasing advanced oil recovery (Enhached Oil Recovery), oil pressure plays a very important role, relative permeability, where the process of pressing oil by the pressing fluid will replace the pore volume left by the oil. The aim of this research is to determine the relative permeability of rocks using a simple designed core flooding teaching aid to increase vocational school students' understanding of the pressure mechanism. The method used is to use the Darcy equation. The core made is sandstone taken from a suitable surface and molded according to the pressure of the designed core flooding tool. The results of determining the relative permeability of the core flooding tool with water pressure fluid injection are in accordance with the Darcy principle where the greater the pressure, the smaller the volume change and the faster the time needed in the same core rock case study.
