The Klakah area is a KRB III area, so the community needs to get socialization and knowledge about volcanic activity and preparedness for the Merapi eruption disaster. This community service was carried out in 2023 in Klakah, Selo, Boyolali with participants from the village government and the Klakah disaster response community. This community service starts from situation analysis, socialization, analysis by distributing questionnaires, and suggestions for the village government. The results of this community service show that community participation is quite high in participating in community service activities and they also care about disaster-related matters. The community already knows the vulnerability of the area where they live. The community further improves relations with the relevant government when a disaster occurs, even though the measured level of resilience is 50%.</em></p>2024-11-14T05:07:16+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 ReTII//journal.itny.ac.id/index.php/ReTII/article/view/5424Education on Awareness of Green Open Space and the Environment in the Archipelago Capital Region2024-11-15T13:11:34+07:00Dharwati P Saridharwati.p.sari@gmail.comResty Intan Putrirestyintanputri@ft.unmul.ac.idNur Asriatul Kholifahnurasiatulk@ft.unmu.ac.idPandu K. The importance of village data in the rural development planning process means that rural’s governments must strive to provide data related to the specific characteristics of their area. This can be realized in the making of rural profile. Implementation stages include preparing instruments, forming working groups, collecting and validating data assisted by the community (a form of participation activity). Furthermore, data processing will be carried out through clarification, tabulation, compilation and recapitulation either through application programs or manually. The final stage is publication which will be carried out via online media. The program introduced the use of basic mathematical operations addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to create budgets, track expenses, and make sound financial decisions. The training employed pretests and posttests to measure participants' progress. The results showed a significant improvement in the participants' ability to manage their finances and adopt positive mindsets, as indicated by higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores. The program also encouraged participants to reduce unnecessary expenses, seek additional income sources, invest for future growth, and share their wealth through charity.Overall, the program had a positive impact on the participants’ financial management skills and household economic resilience. The study was carried out through direct observation of the logistics warehouse and semi-structured interviews with BPBD staff during the period from May to August 2024. Observations revealed that BPBD Bantul Regency faces challenges related to limited storage space and overcrowded items, which may slow down the logistics distribution process during emergencies. Additionally, the logistics management system does not fully comply with the standards set out in BNPB Head Regulation No. 06 of 2009 on Warehouse Guidelines. The impact of this development includes the reduction in agricultural land. This is because agricultural land has experienced conversion, both for housing and public facilities such as schools, offices, factories, hotels and tourist attractions. Considering that Timbulharjo Subdistrict is crossed by two large rivers, namely the Winongo River and the Code River, land conversion without being accompanied by replacement of catchment land or a good drainage system will cause a big problem, namely the potential for rain runoff which can cause inundation (flooding). This incident of inundation (flooding) has been proven to have occurred in several areas in Timbulharjo District, one of which was at Timbulharjo Elementary School on March 22 2021. Therefore, efforts need to be made to reduce the potential for flooding, one of which is with a simple drainage system that can be implemented by rural communities. .
