Analisis Ketersediaan dan Keterjangkauan Fasilitas Pendidikan di Kecamatan Sragen
Abstract
The provision of educational facilities has to be in compliance with SNI 03-1733-2004, where the level of service is determined based on quantity and range of services. The location of educational facilities in Sragen District, which serves as the administrative centre of Sragen Regency, tends to be concentrated at the city center. Not only it has to cover the whole population, the provision of educational facilities should be designed by considering its accessibility. The purpose of this research is to identify the need and availability of educational facilities and to analyze the range of services of educational facilities in Sragen District. This research utilizes both quantitative analysis and spatial analysis to identify the provision level and accessibility of educational facilities in the case study area. This study thus may identify the deficit of elementary school in the case study area. Even though the number of primary and secondary high schools are sufficient, its coverage area is not evenly distributed. This research then may provide recommendations to the local government to add more educational facilities in several area to increase the availability and accessibility of the educational facilities in the case study area.
