Optimasi Biaya Pada Model Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI): Single- Vendor Multi-Retailer Menggunakan Algoritma Genetika

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi ini semakin banyak kerja sama yang tejalin antara perusahaan vendor, manufaktur, distributor, retailer dan kunsumen. Aktivitas ini disebut dengan supply chain management (SCM). Dalam perkembangan hubungan antar vendor yang diwakili distributor ke retailer supaya terjadi win-win solution dalam hal keuntungan maka pihak vendor mengatur tingkat inventorinya yang kemudian disebut dengan vendor menaged inventory (VMI). Inventori adalah faktor penting yang harus
diberi perhatian karena karena dalam aplikasinya dapat menimbukan masalah yang rumit. Dengan VMI ketidakseimbangan keuntungan yang diperoleh baik itu vendor maupun retailer dapat diatasi dengan baik. Namun demikian banyak peneliti masih menyampaikan bahwa model VMI dinilai belum optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalkan model yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Model VMI yang dikaji adalah single-vendor multi-retailer supply chains. Alat
optimasi yang digunakan adalah Algoritma Genetika (AG). Adapun hasil yang dicapai adalah dapat menurunkan total biaya yang terdapat didalam inventori vendor maupun retailer. Optimasi AG dapat memberikan peningkatan performansi sebesar 13,64 %.
