Reka Ruang is a scientific journal focusing on fundamental and applied science in the field of urban and regional studies.  We encourage the submission of research in the areas of:

Publication Frequency

REKA RUANG is biannually published in June and December by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Institut Teknologi Nasional Yogyakarta.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Reka Ruang is fully supported by Institut Teknologi Nasional Yogyakarta (ITNY), as a contribution given by ITNY to support the development of Urban and Regional Studies, especially in Indonesia. This means that the Article Processing Charge (APC) in Reka Ruang is free. The management of Reka Ruang does not require the Author to pay for both APC and Submission Charge during the publication process (submission, peer-review, editing, proofreading, and publication).  

Reka Ruang is published in full open access under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-ShareAlike 4.0 (BY-NC-SA) International License. This makes everyone who is interested in the topic of Urban and Regional Studies to get unlimited, free, and immediate access to the article published in Reka Ruang and to reuse it freely provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors.
