Dampak Perubahan Tata Guna Lahan Terhadap Peningkatan Debit Banjir Pada DAS Ampal Kota Balikpapan
Abstract
Ampal River Basin (Daerah Aliran Sungai/DAS Ampal) is one of drainage system area that is located on the densely built neighborhood and hAmpal River Basin (Daerah Aliran Sungai/DAS Ampal) is one of drainage system area that is located on the densely built neighborhood and has an important role on the urban social-economic activity. During the rainy season, the water volume exceeds the Ampal’s River capacity, caused by the flow from its upstream area. This research is conducted to investigate the effect of the land use change on the water volume in the Ampal River. Analysis was conducted by utilizing daily rainfall data and land use change data from 2019 to 2032. The result of this study reveals that the land use change significantly impacted the increase of the water volume in the Ampal River. as an important role on the urban social-economic activity.
