Kurvatek (e-ISSN: 2477-7870; p-ISSN: 2528-2670) is a free and open-access journal published by Lembaga Penelitian, Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Inovasi (LPPMI), Institut Teknologi Nasional Yogyakarta (ITNY) since 2015. Kurvatek is a replacement from the Jurnal Teknologi Nasional (JTN) that previously managed by STTNAS Yogyakarta (http://journal.sttnas.ac.id/index.php/jtn).

Kurvatek contains articles on research results in the fields of science and technology, especially in the fields of Civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology Engineering, Mining Engineering and Regional and Urban Planning. These five pillars of science and technology have become the hearth of ITNY's development. From here, her full name became "KURVATEK: Journal Technology of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Geology, Mining, and Urban Design". Due to the wide scope of material in the fields of science and technology above, Kurvatek now focuses on the theme "Energy Management and Sustainable Environment". Kurvatek is committed to being the best national journal by publishing quality Indonesian and English articles and becoming the main reference for researchers around the world. On the other hand, the published research results must be able to be disseminated and implemented to solve problems in society.

Kurvatek has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia by Decree Number: 14/E/KPT/2019 which is valid until Volume 7 Number 2 of 2023. Based on this decree, it has been obtained accreditation certificate with SINTA 5 (S5) rating on May 10, 2019 as can be seen below. Information on the history of this journal can also be found HERE.

We congratulate to the author whose paper has been published online for the Regular Issue of November 2023. For the issue of Vol. 9. No. 1, April 2024, we invites scholars, practitioners, researchers, and experts worldwide to submit manuscripts of their latest research results to be considered for publication in the KURVATEK Journal. The scope of the journal is in the fields of geology, mining, electrical engineering, civil engineering, engineering materials, energy conservation and renewable energy, as well as regional and urban planning, and other engineering fields where the research fall in the theme of energy management and sustainable environment. The articles will be reviewed by reputed reviewers. The process of submitting articles until the production will be using Open Journal System (OJS). All published articles will have a digital object identifier (DOI) and free of charge when accepted. Articles in English are highly welcome. The schedule of paper submission until publication is as below.
1. Full manuscript submission (1 January - 28 February 2024)
2. Peer review process (15 February - 15 March 2024)
3. Camera ready for publication (25 March 2024)
4. Paper published online (1-10 April 2024).
