PEMODELAN DAERAH TANGKAPAN HUJAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI GLOBAL MAPPER
Abstract
Catchment area is one of the factors that affect the mine dewatering system. The wider catchment area, the more runoff water will enter the mining site. There are many ways that can be used to model the rain catchment area, either manually by digitizing using the Global Positioning System or using the application, one of which is the Global Mapper application. In the mining world, catchment area analysis is used to control and determine the runoff water discharge that can disturb mining activities. This study was made to facilitate or determining the area of catchment area by using Global Mapper application. By using the elevation and morphology data contained in the Digital Elevation Model (DEM), it’s possible to determine the area of catchment area. After knowing the area of catchment area, the mine dewatering system can be designed optimally.
