This study aims to identify the spatial distribution of andesite rocks in Bener District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java, using the Schlumberger configuration of the geoelectrical resistivity method. A total of 37 measurement points were established with a cable spread of 200 meters to obtain subsurface resistivity data. The inversion results indicate resistivity values above 900 Ωm, reflecting the presence of fresh andesite with compact physical characteristics and minimal weathering. The 3D model reveals that the andesite distribution is predominantly oriented northwest–southeast, extending at depths between 0.1 and 0.4 km below the surface. This spatial pattern is closely associated with the volcanic structures of the Old Andesite Formation that underlie the region. Overall, the findings demonstrate that the geoelectrical method is highly effective for delineating subsurface igneous rock distributions and provides essential geological insights to support resource mapping and regional infrastructure development planning
