EVALUASI SALURAN TERBUKA ENGAN MENGGUNAKAN DISTRIBUSI GUMBELL DAN MODEL THOMAS FIERING
Abstrak
ABSTRACT
The value of rainfall that will occur cannot be determined exactly and precisely, but it can be estimated or predicted. This paper aims to compare the results of rainfall data generation using the Gumbell distribution (1941) and Thomas Fiering model (1971) to further serve as a reference in processing open channel design data in the mine. The data used during the nine years (2009-2017), it's belonging to the West Sumatra Province Water Resources Center. From the results of the study, the rainfall value obtained from the Gumbell distribution was 138.97 mm / day while the rainfall value based on the calculation of the Thomas Fiering model was 103.4 mm / day. From these results it was concluded that the Gumbell Distribution was used to be a reference data in designing the open channel.
