Abstrak
Uncertainty factor and spatial variability parameters of rocks are important factor in the concept analyzing of slope stability. Characteristics of the rock mass show random nature resulting in the patterns of some particular distribution. This reliability problem any segment can use by traditional methods, such as limit equilibrium method (LEM). Furthermore, for numerical methods more detailed in calculations using Finite Difference Method. Finite Difference Method (FDM) a numerical method for performing reliability analysis of rock slope is proposed by combining the plastic limit analysis theory, rigid finite element discretization, mathematical programming theory and Monte Carlo method. The rock slope is discretized into rock blocks and interfaces using finite difference method to establish static admissible stress fields. Additionally, stochastic programming models for performing reliability analysis of rock slopes are established according to the factor of safety (FoS) based on the shear strength parameters of the interfaces random variable. This calculation FoS (factor of safety), using sampling method Point Estimate Method (PEM) to determined Probability of Failure. The result showed that the slope reliability analysis is strongly influenced by the inherent variability of friction angle and hydrogeological conditions.
