Abstract
Fire case in office buildings mostly occurs by some electrical accidents; especially it happens in most multi-storey building with twenty years old or more. It caused by some altering room function without any proper electrical installation adjustment. Moreover, less-maintenance issue made its installation quality, electrical safety and efficiency getting worse. Those issues can generates some electrical hazard risks, and also turns out of abundant energy consumption. These problems can be resolved by retrofitting. The research was conducted in Jakarta by measuring survey and visual identification. According to the data analysis, retrofitting can reduce about 27% building power consumption at peak load and it can avoid any electrical hazards.
Key words : retrofitting, electrical hazard, efficiency
