PENERAPAN KONSEP ARSITEKTUR MODERN PADA BANGUNAN RENTAL OFFICE DI PURWOKERTO

Abstract

Purwokerto City as the capital of Banyumas Regency experienced significant economic growth, which affected commercial activities, especially in the central bussiness district. Economic growth goes paralell with the need for containers (buildings) as rental offices. The application of modern architecture in rental office buildings aims to display buildings with a simple modern style. Emphasis on modern architectural concepts refined into high rise building is expected to meet the needs of offices and services and efficient of urban land used. The methods used include observation, documentation and literature review. The processed data were analyzed using the correlative method, namely connecting the data with one another and descriptively. The results of the analysis are in the form of a rental office design concept covering the shape of the building mass, the appearance of the building, the structure and utilities that apply the principles of modern architecture from Le Corbusier: Pilotis, the design is free from the basic plan, the design is free from the facade, horizontal windows and a roof garden, the white cladding gives a light and modern impression.
