ANALISIS PENCEMARAN LOGAM BERAT TERHADAP KUALITAS AIR PADA SUNGAI KALEMENDO
Abstrak
This study was conducted to analyze the pollution of heavy metals from the processing of people's gold mines on the water of the Kalemendo River which is suspected to contain heavy metals, namely Mercury, Cyanide, Copper, Lead, and Iron. Monitoring the condition of the river, taking water samples, laboratory testing, and determining the status of water quality using the Storet Method. Most of the water quality results in the Kalemendo River have not met the Wastewater Quality Standards for Business and/or Mining Activities based on Minister of Environment Decree No. 113 of 2003, while the status of water quality includes heavily polluted water quality based on Ministry of Environment Decree No 115 of 2003. Water quality of the Kalemendo River based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 for water quality class criteria found that Ph, TSS, Fe, Pb, and Cu metals did not meet Class I and II parameters. The content of heavy metals Cn meets the quality standards of classes I and II, the content of Ph, TSS, Fe, Pb, and Cu metals in river water does not meet the criteria class III.
